Mike Beevers (CEng)

Mike is a chartered Civil Engineer and is an experienced commercial and PFI adviser with extensive experience of writing and negotiating PFI/PPP contracts and payment and performance mechanisms. He has worked for a major UK Contractor, a large firm of Consulting Engineers and prior to setting up Castor Business Consulting in 2010 spent 14 years working at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

 He has spent the past 20 years project managing and advising on the commercial and technical aspects of large, complex and innovative PFI and PPP transactions in the Courts, Defence and Health sectors, and assisting Clients with the effective management of operational contracts.

Daniel Potter (CA)

Daniel is a Chartered Accountant with 14 years’ experience in providing procurement, post procurement and financial advice to the public and private sector. Daniel has specific expertise in the financial and commercial aspects of public private projects across all stages of the procurement lifecycle and in a wide range of post procurement areas.

Daniel has worked across a broad range of sectors but for the past 11 years has worked exclusively on operational PFIs. Prior to joining Castor Business Consulting in 2011, Daniel was part of the Public Private Advisory Team at PricewaterhouseCoopers developing and delivering the firms operational management support to major projects.

Our team is led by Mike Beevers and Daniel Potter who between them have over 35 years experience working in the PFI industry, bringing a range of perspectives, having experience of working on behalf of the public sector, a main contractor, FM service providers and a major consultancy firm.
